In the 19th century the Roter Weinbergpfirsisch(red vineyard peach) was commonplace in Mosel vineyards, where it was used to spread its fragrance among the grapes. Although very limited in cultivation today, this small peach with its blood-red fruit still produces incomparable nectar. Dr. Franz Friedrich blends the essence of the peach with his own Riesling Brandy to create this specialty of his region. There are no words to describe the heavenly scent of this fine liqueur.
