Fabulae Barolo
Our relationship with the Giribaldi winery in Piemonte has brought us some very successful and delicious wines over the past several years, including our Gavi di Gavi and the current Barbera d'Alba. This Barolo under the Fabulae label is another great discovery. The wonderful Nebbiolo grape yields its secrets gradually. This '96 vintage is still very closed, but you can already sense the power lurking under its cloak of tannin and tight fruit. Given today's prices of Barolo, this is a bargain. FBR97 FBR97
