Le Meal is one of the prime single vineyard sites on the Hermitage hill. "The 1997 Hermitage Le Meal displays fat, plumpness, and richness, without losing the floral, minerality characteristics. It is a finesse-styled Hermitage, with concentrated black fruits, and a high-toned, structured, well-delineated personality. Because of low acidity and a plump, plush texture, this wine will be approachable at an early age.
