JanÚ Ventura Penedes Vinya Palfuriana

Spain

The name "Vinya Palifuriana" comes from the name palus that means a romantic meeting point that existed close to the village in Roman times. This wine is mixed at 50% merlot, 45% tempranillo and 5% grenache and harvested late. It is macerated for 20 days and then half of the wine is aged in 2-3 year old barrels for 9 months and the other half is left in stainless steel tanks with its lees wich gives the wine complexity.
