After countless samples and tastings we were finally able to find a wine we we believed ecompassed the qualities of a great Petit Syrah. Dark and dense, with lots of blackberry fruit, a hint of licorice and cassis the 2001 Rios-Lovell is a well structured, muscular and powerful wine.
