Autumn Wind Estate Reserve Pinot Noir

The grapes for this premium "Reserve" Pinot noir came from the estate's vineyards in Yamhill County. There were only 600 cases made of this wine. The winemaker used only the ripest grapes from the harvest and fermented the wine in new oak barrels. It was then moved to small oak barriques of various ages and aged for 11 months. The "Reserve" was blended from only the free-run juice and 1/3 from only new oak. After aging the wine was then bottled 'unfiltered' after fining with egg whites. This is a big, warm Pinot with expansive rich flavors of cherry mingled with cinammon and vanilla. A lovely, complex Pinot noir made without compromises. AWR99 AWR99
