Known locally as Primitivo, the grapes for this 100% IGT Tarrantino Zinfandel come from 80-year-old vines that have benefited from the region's deep red earth. New Barrique ageing has helped the Eliade acheive a level of richness not usually seen in most southern Italian Zinfandels.
