Geil`s Westhofener Steingrube Silvaner Eiswein
The Silvaner grapes for the Geil Eiswein were picked on December 12th, 2002 at 6.30 AM. The temperature was -10 degrees Centigrade and the must weight registered 160 degrees Oechsle. This is another outstanding effort we are receiving from the seemingly infallible Rudolf Geil. The Eiswein presents a strong mineral nose with herbaceous notes and a palate of very ripe or dried fruit and figs and will be a wonderful dessert wine for the upcoming winter holidays!
